Renee Tyska, RN, BSN, leads clinical operations at Welby Health, where she designs and scales the care models behind our chronic care, RPM, and condition-specific programs.
Renee brings more than 15 years of clinical transformation and operational leadership across some of the country's most respected health systems. Most recently, as Director of Clinical at West Health, she oversaw a $20M portfolio spanning academic medical centers, critical access hospitals, and national initiatives — including scaling the geriatric emergency department movement with partners like the VA, UCSD, Kaiser Permanente, and Cleveland Clinic, and launching a 9-hospital care-model accelerator at Mass General Brigham.
Earlier, as VP of Client Success and RN Faculty at Practicing Excellence, she led implementation and retention for 60+ health systems and coached CMOs and medical directors through large-scale change. As Director of Nursing at Beth Israel Deaconess Healthcare, she ran clinical operations across 50 primary care sites, stood up nurse triage and chronic care programs, and doubled her nursing team while cutting turnover.
Her career started at the bedside — critical care at UMass Memorial, home-based heart failure and diabetes management, and population health coaching — which still anchors how she builds: close to the patient, grounded in evidence, and relentless about execution. She holds a BSN from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she was president of her nursing class.
